Brand new training slopes for our pilots!

We are proud to present our new slope development project that will greatly facilitate the progress of our pilots.

Great news for MosAiles club members! The development work on the new training slopes has been completed and the first test flights have been successful. Now, our pilots, beginners or not, can enjoy a custom-made space for their training, specifically designed for our wings.

The project in detail

Before taking off for their first big flight in a paraglider or paramotor, pilots must master several phases, including takeoff and landing. These steps, essential for flight safety and enjoyment, require regular training on suitable slopes. Until now, the insufficient slope of the available slopes made these learning processes more complex, especially for beginners.

A 3D model allowed us to determine the volumes of earth to be moved to guarantee ideal slopes, allowing for progressive takeoffs and very soft landings. A bulldozer was tasked with carrying out the bulk of the work, for a budget of just over 15,000€.
